Born Feb. 6, 1916, in Hancock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wesley Powell and Mary Jane (Spiker) Powell Rae. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh K. Logsdon Sr.; two brothers, John and Ernie Powell; and one sister, Margaret Powell.
Mrs. Logsdon was retired from the housekeeping department at the Holiday Inn. She was a nursing assistant at Memorial Hospital. She attended Christian Fellowship, Cumberland.
Surviving are three sisters, May Gentry, Lonaconing, Myrtle Elliott, Hazel Miller and husband Robert, all of Cumberland; five brothers, Huey Powell, Frostburg, George Powell and wife Wilma, Los Alamos, N.M., Joseph Powell, Lonaconing, James A. Powell and wife Shirley, Bel Air, Cumberland, and William Rae and wife Peggy, Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Francis E. Morris officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.
