My great grandmother, married Stewart Dingman. Martha was the daughter of Peter and Polly Hart, unfortunately Martha's death certificate does not list her mother's name. Martha's son George Dingman provided the info on her death certificate. She was born in Freysbush, Montgomery County, New York and died in her home in Sprakers, Montgomery Co., New York.

She is buried in Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, although I could not locate her grave; the caretaker had no idea where it could be located. Apparently the caretaker at the time she passed did not list the lot or plot of burial only that she was buried there. Perhaps she does not have a stone marker. I could not locate her husband Stewart's grave also.

Many of my great grandmother's descendants claim she was Native American, her death certificate lists her as white.

Martha's brother David P. Hart passed away on April 17, 1927 in Oneida Co. Hospital.
