My Great-Great Grandmother
Polly Hart (maiden name unknown at this time, possibly Udell), her parents might have been Levi and Elizabeth Udell. I have pratically no information on Polly. She was born about 1803. In the 1865 State Census of Minden, Montgomery Co., New York, Polly states she is the mother of 10 children.
After her husband dies, sometime after 1865; Polly and her son David went to live with her daughter Mary Ann (Ann Maria) and her husband John Pettit as seen in the 1870 Federal Census of Root, Montgomery Co., N.Y. In the 1875 State Census, Polly and her son David are living with Polly's daughter Martha and Steward Dingman in Root, Montgomery Co., N.Y.
There is a notice of a Polly Hart passing away on June 30, 1886 in Esperance, which was recorded in the July 8, 1886, Canajoharie Radii, Canajoharie, Montgomery Co., N.Y., newspaper.
