Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from St. Jacob's (Stone) Church with interment in adjoining cemetery.
Friends may call at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, Sunday evening 7 to 9 and at the church Monday from 1 p.m. to time of service.

Mrs. Albert E. Grote
JEFFERSON – Mrs. Bertie M. Albright Grote, 73, wife of Albert E. Grote, died Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Hanover Hospital following a year's illness and a hospitalization of one week.
Mrs. Grote was born in Manheim Township, a daughter of the late Franklin and Daisy Nace Albright, and was a lifelong resident of the Jefferson area.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church and the Never Weary Class of the Sunday School, the church's Community Club and the Jefferson Fire Company Auxiliary.
Surviving with the husband are three sons, A. Nevin (Al) Grote, Hampstead, Md.; Julian S. Grote, 25 Baltimore St., and Donald E. Grote, 505 E. Boundary Ave., Hanover; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters. They are: Arthur Albright, Littlestown; Mrs. Charles Blouse, Hanover; Mrs. Charles Waltemyer, Codorus; Raymond Albright, Hanover RD; Stewart Albright, Spring Grove RD; Mrs. Earl Smith, Seven Valleys RD 2; Mrs. Clayton Shearer, Codorus, and Albert Albright, Glen Rock RD 2.
The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Jacob's Church with Mrs. Grote's pastor, the Rev. Glenn Flinchbaugh, officiating. Assisting will be the Rev. Richard C. Weaver, the Lutheran pastor at St. Jacob's, and the Rev. George A. Heisey, the retired UCC pastor. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
