Franklin C. Albright, 75, Dies At Jefferson

Jefferson - Franklin C. Albright, husband of Mrs. Daisy Nace Albright, died at 6:35 p.m. yesterday at his home, this place. He was 75.
Mr. Albright, a resident of Jefferson for 14 years, was in ill health for two years and bedfast the past two weeks. He was employed by P. H. Glatfelter Company, Spring Grove, for 10 years and, prior to that, worked for Western Maryland Railway Company.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob's Union Church, the Adult Men's Bible Class of the Sunday School and Jefferson Fire Company.
Besides his wife, he leaves these 10 children: Mrs. Albert Grote, Arthur Albright, Mrs. Charles Waltemyer and Mrs. Clayton Shearer, all of Jefferson; Mrs. Charles Blouse, William and Raymond Albright, all of Hanover; Stewart Albright, Spring Grove RD 1; Mrs. Earl Smith, Seven Valleys RD 2, and Albert Albright, Glen Rock RD 2.
He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Wildasin, Hanover; Mrs. Goldie Rohrbaugh, Glen Rock RD 1, and Mrs. Charles Smith, Manchester, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, by his pastor, Rev. George A. Heisey. Interment will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery.
