Vergie M. Waltemyer
JEFFERSON – Vergie M. (Albright) Waltemyer, 80, of Jefferson, died Monday evening at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. She was the wife of Charles W. Waltemyer. The couple observed their 51st wedding anniversary June 10.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, Brodbecks. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Waltemyer was born in Brodbecks. She was the daughter of the late Franklin C. and Daisy S. (Nace) Albright.
Mrs. Waltemyer also is survived by a daughter, Pauline M. Kerchner of Hanover; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Stewart Albright of Spring Grove, and Albert Albright of Glen Rock; and three sisters, Florence Blouse of Hanover, Dorothy Smith of Seven Valleys, and Minnie Shearer of Jefferson.
