Adaline Weigle, wife of W. B. Hanks, died at her home, three miles southwest of Maroa, on Saturday evening of apoplexy, aged 55 years. She was born in Cumberland county, Pennsylvania, Novemeber 27, 1832, and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wykle, came Macon county many years ago. In 1853 she was married to John Hanks; nine children were born to them, eight of whom survive her. Since 1851 she has been a consistent member of the Church of God. The funeral occurred yesterday, Rev. W. I. Berkstresser conducting the services. the remains were interred in Boiling Springs cemetery.
