October 24, 1936, she was united in marriage to Perry Dalrymple. To this union one daughter, Carol Ann was born.
In her early life she became a member of the church of Christ and remained steadfast in this faith to the last.
She spent most of her life in and around Ransom and was a graduate of the Ransom High School. she was one of the county’s most successful teachers, having taught 17 terms. Elizabeth is remembered for her kindness and never tiring endeavor to help others.
She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter, Carol Ann, and her father, A.H. Barber, of Ransom; five brothers; Henry of Moulton, Ia., Russell of Tucson, Ariz., James of Dodge City, Ralph and Bud of Ransom; five sisters, Edith and Hazel of Ransom; Marie of Pratt, Blanche of Denver, Colo., and Leila of Beeler; 21 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
