Nathan Columbus Keck, age 65, died November 14 at his home in Huntsville after a brief illness.
Funeral services was conducted by Rev. Cecil Garrison the following day, 2:00 p.m. at Witter, his former home, and interment was made in the cemetery there; with the arrangements directed by the Brashears Funeral Home.
The deceased was born December 24, 1880, near Witter, Arkansas, being a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Keck. He was married to Amanda Ogden in 1903 and they resided in the Witter community till moving to Huntsville about a year ago.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Mrs. Hester McElhaney, Mrs. Esta Pharris and Sheriff Lester Keck; two brothers, Fred and Keck, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Keck was converted to Christianity in 1898 and united with the Missionary Baptist Church.
