Mrs. John Durham, after a long illness from consumption, died Thursday of last week at her home in Blue River Township. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, conducted by Elder Cross.

Durham died from consumption of eighteen months duration, at 8:00 a. m. on 21 Dec 1899 in Blue River Township, Johnson County, Indiana, aged twenty-five years, two months and sixteen days. She was female, white, married and a housewife, born in Nashville, Brown County, Indiana. Her father’s name was James C. Campbell and her mother’s maiden name Minerva Flint. Both parents were born in Ohio. She was buried in Freeman Cemetery on 22 Dec 1899, undertaker J. M. Breeding.
