Tipton Conservative, Nov. 1972 - Funeral services will be held for Rosa Kelley, 90, at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Sheets and Son Funeral Home, Tipton, with Rev. James Lusher officiating. Burial will at Mt. Zion cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Kelley, Tipton, died Thursday morning at the Crestview Nursing Home, West Branch following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1881 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Joseph and Jane Lockridge Merrill. She married William Morgan May 8, 1900 in Tipton. Her second marriage took place Oct. 16 in Muscatine to Earl Kelley. she was a member of the Mt. Zion church Tipton. Survivors include four daughter, Mrs. William (Millie) Ackley of El Cerrito, Calif., Mrs. Ethel Yerington of Tipton, Mrs. Earl (Mildred) Baker of Clarence, Miss Gladys Morgan of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sons, one daughter, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Kelly, 90, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Nov. 27 with the Rev. James Lusher officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Pallbearers were 6 grandsons, Bruce, Dennis, Warren, David and Frank Lovell and Michael Weaver. Mrs. Elsie Stiff and Mrs. John Sharpless were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Don Stiff was organist and Mrs. Richard Anderson vocalist.
Mrs. Kelly died at West Branch Nov. 23 following a long illness.
The daughter of Joseph Henry and Jane Lockridge Merrill, she was born at Cedar Rapids Dec. 10, 1881 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar County.
She was married to William Morgan May 8, 1900 at Tipton and, following his death, married Earl Kelly at Muscatine Oct. 16, 1937. She was a lifelong resident of the Tipton area. She was a member of the Mt. Zion church.
