Carl Gruber the son of Joseph and Barbara Gruber was born in Agram township. Carl was in business in Lastrup. He was a construction worker. Carl owned and operated Pierz Sanitation until retirement in 1976.
Three brothers preceded him in death, Alphonse, Herb and Wilfred.
