Memorial services for Wilfred Gruber, TM 3/c, were held at St. John of Nepomuk chruch in Lastrup Monday, April 16. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gruber, five brothers and six sisters. They are: Alphonse, Flint, Mich.; S/Sgt. Herbert in Iran; Pvt. Urban in Germany; Carl and Simon, at home; Mrs. Albert Dietz (Lucy), New Ulm; Mrs. Frank Meidl (Cresence), New Ulm; Mrs. Joseph Sporlein (Edith), Chicago; Mrs. Herman Langer (Esther), Pierz; Eleanor and Caroline, at home. All the sisters and brothers were here for the Memorial Service except the two overseas.
