Mrs. James Lawrence of Irishtown died at her home Monday morning at 11:30 o'clock, after an illness of several months from a complication of diseases, aged about 80 years. Her husband died about four years ago.

Surviving her are the following children: Mrs. Edward Hemler, Eugene Lawrence and Stanislaus Lawrence, of Irishtown; Mrs. Wm. Losman, McSherrystown; Fabian Lawrence, Edgegrove; Mrs. Annie Long, near New Oxford; Harry Lawrence, and Miss Emma Lawrence, Tennessee; Fr. Jerome Lawrence, Dante, Va., and Miss Isabelle Lawrence, at home. She is also survived by a sister, Miss Emma Hart, McSherrystown, and a brother, James Hart, in the West.

The funeral of Mrs Lawrence will be held this Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Services will be held in Conewago chapel, the Rev. Fr. Koch officiating. Interment will take place in Conewago Catholic cemetery.

She was a daughter of the late Aloysius and Mary Ann Hart. Thirty-three grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
