Mrs. Annie Margaret (Lawrence) Long, 87, died this morning at 5:50 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Miss Agnes Long, Hanover R. 4, following a short illness.

She was the daughter of the late James and Agnes Hart Lawrence and wife of the late Peter J. Long. Besides her daughter with whom she resided, she is survived by these children: Mrs. Mildred Groft, Hanover R. 4; Mrs. Mary Miller, York: Leo Long, New Oxford; George Long, Gettysburg R. 5; Charles Long and James Long, both of McSherrystown; Mrs. Florence Smith, New Oxford R. 1, and Jerome Long, Hanover. Also surviving are 44 grandchildren, 114 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a sister, Miss Belle Lawrence, New Oxford R. 1.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Conewago; the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality; the parish council of the NCCW, and the Ladies' Auxiliary of ths Irishtown Fire Company.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Walter Funeral Home at 8:15 a.m. followed by a requiem mass at Sacred Heart Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John C. Bolen officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, Monday evening. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
