Mrs. Lillian Hemler, 66, widow of Edward Hemler, died at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home in Irishtown, of pneumonia. Mrs. Hemler was a daughter of the late James A. and Anges Hart Lawrence.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Peter Miller, Hanover; Mrs. Thomas Adams, near Hanover and Mrs. George Martin, Irishtown; one son, Corneluis Hemler, Irishtown; 12 grandchildren; five brothers, Eugene and Staniuslaus Lawrence of Irishtown; H.F. Lawrence, Chattanooga, Tennessee; The Rev. Father Jerome Lawrence, O.S.E.,Columbus, Mississippi, and Fabin Lawrence, Edge Grove; also four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Loseman of McSherystown; Mrs. Peter Long, New Oxford; Miss Isabel C. Lawrence, Chattanooga, Tennessee and Miss Emma J. Lawrence, Birmingham, Alabama.
Funeral Thursday morning at 9 o'clock with a Requiem High Mass at Conewago Chapel, Edge Grove in charge of the Rev. Father J.F. O'Donnell. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the chapel.
