DAVID GOLTRY, 95, DIES IN HOSPITAL
David Goltry, 95, of 1330 Twelfth St., died Saturday in Broadlawns Polk County Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Goltry was born in Lucas County and lived in Des Moines for 17 years. He previously lived in University Park. He was a retired farmer and teacher. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Oskaloosa.
Surviving are three sons, Clell R. Goltry and Robert E. Goltry, both of Denver, Colo., and Edwin S. Goltry, Peoria, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Roe Anderson, Ankeny, and 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Ankeny Funeral Home with burial at University Park Cemetery, Oskaloosa.
