MRS. KATE GOLTRY TURNER
Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Sanger received the sad intelligence Saturday, of the death of their granddaughter, Mrs. Wilfred Turner, of Oskaloosa, who died Friday afternoon with pneumonia, following the influenza.
She was formerly Miss Kate Goltry, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Goltry, formerly of this county, where she was born and spent her young girlhood.
She was a teacher in the Mahaska county schools for some time and since her marriage about three years ago they had made their home in Oskaloosa, where her husband was in business.
Funeral services were held from the home Monday, and interment was made in the Oskaloosa cemetery. Many friends in this county will sympathize with the family in their sad bereavement.
