Arnold Lee Ames, 36, 27 King Arthur Court, Northlake, Ill. died Sunday, April 17 at the Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, Ill. after a long illness.

He was born March 10, 1941 at Ogema, Wis. to Earl and Marie Kaatz Ames. Mr. Ames attended Ogema schools and was a former resident of the village of Fulton and attended Edgerton High School. He had been a resident of Northlake, Ill. the past seven years where he worked as an agent for United Van Lines.

He is survived by: four brothers, Douglas, Brodhead, Dewey, Marquette, Mich., David, Ogema, Wis. and Daniel; six sisters, Mrs. Harvey Schwersinske, Beloit, Mrs. Richard Schmidt, Port Edwards, Mrs. Arnis Cardinal, West Chester, Ill., Mrs. Marlin Kraus, Stetsonville, Mrs. Clem Heinzel, Oregon and Mrs. Arthur Simons, North Branch, Minn.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 20, at Central Lutheran Church with the Reverend Norman Jole officiating.

The song service was by Mrs. Rolland Tellefson, organist.

Burial was in the Fulton Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by the Ellingson-Nygaard Funeral Home.
