Lucy May Gregory-Storm was born May 23rd, 1908 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Benjamin Theodore & Rozena May Flowers-Gregory. She was their 4th child.

The 1910 US Federal Census for House Creek, Pawnee, Oklahoma shows Benjamin as a Farmer married to May(Rozena). May is listed as having birthed 7 children with 4 living; children listed are Charles, Gertrude, Lucy & Edith.

According to the 1920 US Census for House Creek, Pawnee, Oklahoma, Benjamin-44 married to May-41; they rent their home. Benjamin is a Pumper for an Oil Co. All can read & write. Lucy-11, Edith-10 & Clyde-8 all attend school. Their daughter, Gertrude-15 & her husband Sidney Reed-19 live next door to them.

Lucy married Sherman Milton Storm on July 3rd, 1927 at age: 19 in Cleveland, Pawnee, Oklahoma, USA per the 'Biography' page in the Memorial Book for Sherman Storm that was filled out by Lucy Storm.

The 1930 US Census taken April 7th, 1930 for Cleveland, Pawnee, Oklahoma shows Sherman is married to Lucy-21. He is a Pipe Liner for the Oil Fields. They rent their home for $25 & own a radio. They have 2 sons: Oscar-2 years & Leslie-12 months. Sherman's brother Earl Storm-19 who attends school lives w/them.

By the time the US Census was taken in 1940 the family lived in Jordan Valley, Pawnee, Oklahoma. This 1940 US Census shows Sherman M married to Lucy May, age 31. Sherman is a 'Ganger' for an Oil Producing Co. Lucy's father, Benjamin Gregory lives w/them, he's a Pumper for an Oil Producing Co. Children at home: David Oscar, Homer Leslie, Ruth, Shirley, Sally M & Patricia A.

Sherman & Lucy went on to have two more children: Paul Sherman Storm in 1941 and Gail Delores Storm in 1952.

After Sherman was laid-off from the Oil Company, Sherman, Lucy & daughter, Gail moved to Tulsa and lived with their daughter Pat Martin and her young son, David.

Lucy became an active member of Nogales Baptist Church in Tulsa until the family moved to North Tulsa and there she became an active member of Fairhill Baptist Church.

Lucy passed away August 1st, 1982 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband-Sherman and 2 granddaughters and 1 great-grandson.
