Alford, Robert (Bobby)—Died at 5:15 p.m. Friday at Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence, Age 66. A resident of Kentwood and a native of St. Helena Parish. Was a veteran of World War I and a member of American Legion Post 264.

Services at Brown's Funeral Home in Kentwood at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Sibley, the Rev. Cotton and the Rev. Wilson officiating. Burial in Alford Cemetery.

Survivors are his father, W.C. Neil Alford, Kentwood; two sons, Layton and Elton Alford, both of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Bernell Butler of Kentwood; three brothers, Gene Alford, J.D. (Speedy) Alford and Rep. Shelby Alford, all of Kentwood; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Harris and Mrs. Elmer Hughes of Kentwood, Mrs. Fritz Falcon of Mary Esther, Fla.; Mrs. Jessie Allen, Jackson, and Mrs. Clyde Young, Amite, and 10 grandchildren.
