Harold F. McElroy, 73, Edwards, Mo., formerly of Sugar Creek, died Friday at the home. He was born in Sylvia, Kan., and had lived in Sugar Creek before moving to Edwards in 1976. Mr. McElroy was a steel worker for Armco Inc. before he retired in 1965. He was a member of United Steelworkers and was an Army veteran of World War II. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lucille McElroy of the home; a son, . . . ; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Large, Sugar Creek; two brothers, William McElroy, Garden City, Kan., and Glen McElroy, Lamar, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Violet Smith, Garden City; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reser Chapel, Warsaw, Mo.; burial in Cable Ridge Cemetery, Near Edwards. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel.
