St. Cloud, Fla. -- Ray Y. Allison, 80, formerly of Chester, died July 6, 2005, in St. Cloud of a lengthy illness. He was born in Chester a son of the late Donald and Ethel Yonally Allison. He was retired from Patterson Industries in East Liverpool and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church in Chester. He is survived by his wife, Olive Marie Dawson Allison; daughters, Darlene Samples of St. Cloud and Kay Boggs of Calcutta; brothers, Mryon Allison of Stow, Ohio, Elbert and Errett Allison of Chester and Deane Allison of Illinois; sisters, Alliene Kissoon of East Liverpool and Marie Elliot of Hookstown; and four grandsons. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Arner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Dudgeon of Pine Grove, W. Va. Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
