Mrs. Ethel Allison
Mrs. Ethel Grace Allison, 75, of the Chester - Waterford Park Rd. died Sunday at 9 a.m. in City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born Feb. 18, 1899, in Chester, a daughter of Lewis A. Yonally and Nannie J. Alexander Yonally. She was a member of the Emmanuel Mission, where she was a past librarian and was at one time a Sunday School teacher. She was a former member of the Asbury Farm Women's Club. Her husband, Donald E. Allison, died March 22, 1971. Survivors include six sons, Robert Allison of Hiaheah, Fla., Ray Allison of Mt. Dora, Fla., Deane Allison of Jacksonvile, Ill., Errett Allison and Ebert Allison, both of Chester, and Myron Allison of Muncy, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Johnson of Smiths Ferry, Mrs. Chester (Marie) Elliott of Hookstown and Mrs. Walter (Alliene) Elkins of Hallandale, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and six great - grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. Paul Brooks. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 tonight and Tuesday afternoon and night.
