Helen Allison Johnson, 76
Midland - Helen G. Allison Johnson, 76 of Salem Church Road, formerly of Chester, died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 1995, at the Medical Center of Beaver. She was born in Chester Feb. 17, 1919, a daughter of the late Donald E. and Ethel G. Yonally Allison. She was a registered nurse 55 years at City Hospital. She graduated from Wells High School and from City Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Ohioville Church of the Nazarene, where she served as pianist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elwyn Brown and her second husband, Robert Johnson. She is survived by two sons, Donald E. Brown of Travelers Rest, S. C., and Gary E. Brown of Midland; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Louise) Lawson of Morehead City, N.C., six brothers, Robert D. Allison of Greensburg, Pa., Dean Allison of Alexander, ILL., Ray Allison of East Liverpool, Errett Allison and Elbert Allison of Chester and Myron Allison of Stow, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Chester (Marie) Elliott of Hookstown and Margaret Alliene Kissom of East Liverpool; nine grandchildren and eight great - grandchildren. The Rev. Florence Knight of the Church of the Nazarene will conduct services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
