Mrs. Mariller Bond Alexander, 80, widow of Syrus Alexander, died at 3 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where she had been a patient for about one month. Until her illness, she had made her home with her daughter, Miss Thelma Alexander, 103 McConn Ave., Long Beach. Mrs. Alexander, born Aug. 30, 1887, in Saucier, had resided for most of her life in Long Beach. She was a member of the Church of God, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Riemann Funeral Home in Long Beach, with the Rev. Bert Phelps of the Church of God officiating. Interment will be in the Allen Cemetery, Long Beach. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by four sons, Edgar Alexander, James Alexander and Donald Alexander, Long Beach; and Maurice Alexander, Port Isabell, Tex.; 28 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. V. V. Bobinger, Mrs. W. R. Beech and Mrs. Alma Allen, Long Beach.
