Edgar Horris Alexander, 63, an electrician and a resident of 668 Nicholson Ave., Long Beach, died this morning at 2:45 o'clock at the Driftwood Nursing Center in Gulfport. He had been a patient there for three weeks. Mr. Alexander, a Baptist, was born April 6, 1908, in Long Beach. He was employed as an electrician for O'Neal Electric Co., Gulfport. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. W. A. Hauer Jr., Long Beach; Mrs. Patsy Watts, Camden, SC; Mrs. Peggy Cowart, Gulfport; Mrs. Shirley Ferro and Mrs. Jody Brackenridge, Biloxi; and four sons, Charles, Curtis and Gilbert Alexander, Long Beach; and Gary Alexander, Sacramento, Calif.; 32 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister, Miss Thelma Alexander, Long Beach, and three brothers, Maurice Alexander of Mexico; Donald Alexander, DeLisle, and James Alexander, Long Beach.
