Funeral services for John C. Alexander, 24, who was shot and killed in Vicksburg Monday, were held this morning at ten o'clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Alexander, Long Beach. Rev. Dale, evangelist, Long Beach, officiated. Burial was in Allen Cemetery with James Young. Willie Sanders, Aaron Allen, Wiley Allen, P. H. Allen and Floyd Bobinger acting as pallbearers.
