Callie B. Magee, 84, of Baton Rouge, La., a former Jackson resident, died Thursday in Baton Rouge General Hospital.

Mrs. Magee, a native of Magee, was a member of the Van Winkle Baptist Church.

She was the widow of Richard N. Magee.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Simmons of Baton Rouge; three sons, Richard and Ewell, both of Jackson, and Vessen of Gulfport; two brothers, Lauren Butler of Forrest, La., and Ross Butler of Magee; and six sisters, Bulah Johnson of Forrest, La., Leona Kennedy, Mrs. Georgia Runnels and Myrtle Runnels, all of Magee, and Lois Bankston and Rosia Tuner, both of Jackson.

Services are scheduled for Monday, 1 1 a.m. from Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Magee, both of Jackson; five step-son, Milson Magee of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Whaley W. Magee of Mize, Howard Magee of Jackson, Revis Ward Magee of Calif., and Draughn G. Magee of Magee; one step-daughter, Ruby Moore of Alabama; two brothers, Lauren Butler of Forrest, La. and Ross Butler of Magee; six sisters, Mrs. Beulah Johnson of Forrest, La.. Mrs. Leona Kennedy, Mrs. Georgia Runnels and Mrs. Myrtle Runnels, all of Magee, Mrs. Lois Bankston and Mrs. Rosia Turner, both of Jackson; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
