Myrtle V. Runnels, 88, retired nurse, died November 22, 1999, at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Services were held November 24, 1999 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home with burial in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Mattie Butler and Bobbie Cook, both of Magee and Faye Lang of Clinton; three sisters, Nancy L. Kennedy and Georgia Runnels, both of Magee and Lois Bankston of Jackson, LA.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hinds D. Runnels; and a son, Ervin Runnels.
