Mrs. Dorothy M. Sams, age 59, of 178 W. North St., Marcellus died early Monday morning, Aug. 5 in Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, following a two year illness.
She was born Oct. 18, 1914 in Wexford County, Michigan the daughter of John C. and Minnie (Janing) Buckhold. She lived in the Marcellus area most of her life.
Surviving are one son, Charles J. Sams of Route 3, Marcellus; one granddaughter; two brothers, Ralph and Dwight Buckhold, both of Marcellus; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 in the Romig Funeral Home with Rev. David Shilton, pastor of the Edwards Corners Bible Church officiating. Burial was in the Marcellus Cemetery.
