Violet Vivian Buckhold, daughter of John and Minnie Buckhold, was born in Cass County, Michigan, July 16, 1909 and departed this life October 8, 1920, aged 11 years, 2 months and 22 days.
Since last April she has been a great sufferer with a combination of ailments but bore her suffering with much patience until the termination of life. She was of a cheerful disposition and will be very much missed in the home.
In her departure she leaves a father, mother, four brothers and one sister, with many other relatives and friends but not without a hope of meeting again beyond the river of death.
The funeral services were held in the Evangelical Church, Sabbath afternoon, October 10, 1920, by the Evangelical pastor and the remains were laid to rest in the Marcellus Cemetery.
