Howard L. Buckhold, age 58, died Thursday, February 27, 1964, at 1 p.m. in the Lee Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for about a week. He had been ill for about a year.

Born April 22, 1905 in Marcellus Township, Cass County, Michigan, son of John C. and Minnie (Janing) Buckhold. He has lived in his present home on Hemlock Lake for the past 6 1/2 years. Previous to that he was a Three Rivers resident for 22 years. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2303, Three Rivers; and Loyal Order of Moose, 474, Three Rivers. On June 19, 1933 he was married to Anna Marie Zweig.

Besides his wife Anna, he is survived by four brothers, Leon, Raymond, Ralph and Dwight, all of Marcellus; and one sister, Dorothy Sams, also of Marcellus; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 1, 1964 at 2:30 p.m. in the Romig Funeral Home, Marcellus. Rev. Don Silvis, pastor of E.U.B. Church, Marcellus, officiating. Burial in Marcellus Cemetery.
