Last rites for William Joseph Jacks were held at Milligan Springs Wednesday, November 19, at 2 p.m., with the Rev J. A. Wade of Slate Springs officiating. He died at his residence at Tunica Tuesday.
Interment was under direction of Lee Funeral Home.
Born in Montgomery County on July 27, 1874, Mr. Jacks had married the late Maggie Dacus in 1897. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. U. I. Burchfield, Stewart, Mrs. J. H. Lamkin, Kilmichael, Mrs. Arnold Williams, Indianola, and Mrs. Henry Williams, West Memphis, Ark.; one son, Aubrey Jacks, Tunica; one sister, Mrs. Lela Elmore, Jackson; and four brothers, A. D. Jacks and T. E. Jacks, Winona, G. L. Jacks, West Memphis, Ark., and F. J. Jacks, Tunica.
