Mrs. Bettye Jacks Williams, 75, of Indianola, died on Oct. 9 at South Sunflower County Hospital. The Kilmichael native had been a resident of Indianola for the past 42 years. She was the wife of the late Arnold Williams.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Indianola First Baptist Church with Rev. Cornell Daughtry and Rev. J.C. Hubbard officiating. Burial followed at City Cemetery with Card Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Joanne Chatoney of Indianola; three sisters, Mrs. Vicki Williams of Little Rock, Mrs. Lola Burchfield of Memphis and Mrs. Stella Lampkin of Grenada; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers were Phillip Fratesi, Bailey Culpepper, James Corder, Jerry Stevens, Larry Williams, Fred Davis and R.M. Randall.
