Marjorie Hope Elliott, 58, of Marion, died Wednesday, December 9, 1981 in an Asheville hospital.
She was a daughter of Sarah Mae Proctor Williams of Marion and the stepdaughter of the late Thomas Roy Williams. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three sons, William Fredrick, Jr., John Leighton and Joseph Patrick Elliott; two daughters, Madeline Hope Elliott and Alice Loudermilk; two brothers, Douglas Earl and John Michael Williams; and a sister, Joyce Smith.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 11, 1981 in the Westmoreland-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Walker Cemetery in Pine Cove.
