  LOA — Norman Parley Rees, age 67, of Loa, died January 5, 1986 in a Salt Lake hospital.
  Born April 16, 1918 in Loa, a son of Parley and Mandy Melvina Bastian Rees. Member L.D.S. Church. Served in both Europe and Japan during World War II. Lived most of his life in Wayne County. He was a ranch-hand and a miner.
  Survivors: one brother, five sisters, Antone Bash Rees, Loa; LaPreal Forsyth, Teasdale; Harriet Morrell, Mrs. Orin (Inez) White and Mrs. Elmer (Beverly Rae) Davis, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Don (Betty Jean) Chappell, Lyman, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 8, 1986, at 1:00 p.m. in the Loa L.D.S. Stake Tabernacle where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial with Military Rites under the direction of the American Legion Harold Brown, Post 92 will be held in the Loa Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield.
