Man Found Dead Here, Louis Rader, On Hunting Permit
An elderly man who carried a hunting license bearing the name of Louis Rader, 69, issued at St. Peter, was found dead about 2 o'clock this afternoon on the unloading platform at the Jul Puck stockyards in the north end of town. He apparently was the Victim of a heart attack. MFP, 10/21/1935.
LAST RITES FOR LOUIS RADER SET FOR THURSDAY
Louis Rader, aged 74, who was found dead here Monday afternoon, as the result of heart failure, will be laid to rest Thursday. Deceased was born in Cook county, Illinois, and came to Blue Earth county with his parents, when he was nine years of age. In 1886 he was united in marriage with Miss Katherine Schenk, who together with two children has preceded him in death. The survivors are four daughters and six sons, Mrs. Otto Sommer of Mapleton, Mrs. Ed Boss of St. Paul, Mrs. E. Schroeder of Minneapolis and Mrs. Silas Getty of St. Peter. The sons are: George of Mapleton, Frank, Louis and Oscar of this city, William of Medo, and Carl of Decoria.
Seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Wallace Hooker of Carlor, Minn., and Mrs. Henry Byiersdorf of Minneapolis, and one brother, William Rader of Columbus, Mont. Funeral services will be held from the Landkamer funeral home Thursday at 1:15 and from the Decoria Lutheran church at 2. 8urial will take place in the Decoria cemetery. Rev. Lindekugel will officiate.
