Obituary - Services for Florence C Getty, 75, St Peter, who died Sunday at Community Hospital here, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Decoria Cemetery, North Mankato. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Klein Funeral Home here.
She was born March 2, 1904, in Blue Earth County to Louis and Catherine Roder and married Silas Getty Feb 28, 1927, at Decoria Redeemer Lutheran Church. They lived in the Mankato area until moving to St Peter in 1932.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Jean (Mrs. Jack) Fischer, Rochester; a son, Jerry, Cottage Grove; a brother, George Roder, Mapleton; and seven grandchildren. Mankato Free Press; 3/19/1979.
