Norman E. (Spike) Jordan, 72, of 707 Innis St., died at 12:55 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 1994, in the West Unit of Northwest Medical Center at Franklin.

Born Feb. 3, 1922 in Clarion County, he was son of Earl Craig and Lenora Elizabeth Campbell Jordan.

Mr. Jordan was a veteran of World War II, serving with the forces which landed on Anzio Beach.

He worked for National Fuel Gas for 33 years, retiring in 1983.

Mr. Jordan was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was secretary of the Venus Cemetery Association for 23 years.

Mr. Jordan was married Nov. 20, 1946, to Anna Puleo, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Albert N. (Chip) Jordan of Seneca and Edward E. Jordan of Oil City; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Deborah) Culp of Crown; seven grandchildren, Robert Culp, Mark Culp, Ann Culp Hoffman, Matthew Jordan, Scott Jordan, Angela Jordan and Adam Jordan; and five great-grandchildren.

He also is surviving by two brothers, Norris Jordan of Knox and Robert Jordan of Rockland; and a sister, Mrs. Harvey (Betty) Bush of Cranberry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Lucinda Shreffler, Louise McIlwain, Maxine Jordan and Dolly Sherline Jordan.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Tuesday in the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ferd B. Park, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Venus Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the West Unit of Northwest Medical Center or to Grace United Methodist Church.
