Born November 16, 1919, at West Freedom, she was a daughter of the late Earl C. and Lenora E. Campbell Jordan.
She married John G. (Amos) Shreffler on July 8, 1942. He survives.
Mrs. Shreffler graduated from Rockland High School in 1938.
In earlier years, she worked for Manifold Printing in Franklin. She later worked as a tetephone operator in Nickleville for many years.
Mrs. Shreffler then went to work for the Flower Mill in Emlenton and also the tax collector in Richland Township for more than 10 years.
She enjoyed quilting and met with the No-Supper Quilting Club once a week.
Mrs. Shreffler also did flower arrangements and enjoyed her grandchildren's activities.
She was a member of the Nickleville Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sally) Craig of Emlenton RD 1; a son, Dennis K. Shreffler of Emlenton RD 1 and two grandsons.
She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Harvey (Betty) Bush Jr. of Kennerdell RD 1; three brothers, Norman E. Jordan of Oil City, Norris C. Jordan of Knox RD and Robert E. Jordan of Kennerdell RD; and number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers and three sisters, Louise McIlwain, Dolly Jordan and Maxine Jordan.
Friends will be recived from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox.
Funeral servicies will be held at 11 am Friday in Nickleville Presbyterian Church. Rev. Judy Borchardt, pastor of the church, will officiate.
Intermemt will be in Nickleville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the handicapped ramp fund for the Nickleville Presbyterian Church.
