Mrs. E. Lenora Jordan, 73, Kennerdell RD 1 (Rockland) died at 9 p.m. Thursday April 20, 1972 in Franklin Hospital following an extended illness.

She was the widow of Earl C. Jordan. Mrs. Jordan was born in Clarion County on Christmas Day, 1898 a daughter of Norris and Maude Fair Campbell.
On June 4, 1919, she married Earl C. Jordan in West Freedom. He died in April of 1952.

Surviving are three sons, Norman E., Venus; Norris C. Knox RD 1; Robert Jordan, Kennerdell RD 1; three daughters, Mrs. John G. (Lucinda) Shreffler, Emlenton RD 1; Mrs. Harvey C. (Betty) Bush, Jr., Kennerdell RD 1, and Miss Dolly S. Jordan, Zanesville, Ohio.
Two brothers, Leslie Campbell, Reno, and Don Campbell, Bredinsburg Road, survive in addition two sisters, Mrs. Leslie (Virginia) Findley, Pleasantville and Mrs. Nellie Keener, Rabun Gap, Ga.; 18 grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

One daughter, Mrs. Carl (Louise) McIlwain, died June 28, 1971 and three children died in infancy. Two brothers and one sister are also deceased. Mrs. Jordan was a member of Rockland United Methodist Church and the Ladies Bible Class of the church. She was well known for her hobby of sewing, quilting and tatting. The family will receive friends at the Leverne L. Burger Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Rhoades, pastor of Rockland United Methodist Church, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery.
