Edith Salge, age 78, of San Antonio, formerly of Boerne, passed away on Friday, Janurary 14, 2000. She was born in Tushka, OK, on Jan. 26, 1921. She and her husband had lived in Boerne for 11 years and only recently moved to San Antonio. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church. Mrs. Salge is survived by her husband, Rev. Oskar Salge; children, Linda Hegg and her husband, Paul of Missoula, MT, Larry Salge and his wife Ruth of Duncanville, TX and Judy Salge of San Antonio; grandchildren, Chris Hegg, Elizabeth Hegg, Benjamin Hegg, Jason Salge and his wife Rebecca, Kevin Salge and his wife Micki, and Jay Salge; great-grandchildren, Jamison Hegg, Desmond Carter and Ryan Salge. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 16, 2000 from 3:00 PM. to 5:00 PM. at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at 2:00 PM. at St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne, with Pastor Henry Schulte officiating. Burial will follow in the Boerne Cemetery. If so desired, Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or charity of choice. Empty Vase.
