died last week at this home of her daughter, Mrs. A. A. Nail, 2055 South Columbus street. Denver, Colo., after a lingering illness, aged eighty-three years. She was born in Athens, Ohio, in 1845. She resided in Illinois and Nebraska, locating in Denver in 1920. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nail and Mrs. P. M. Layton of Douglas, Wyo., and one son, Rev. Frank H. Hollenbeck, pastor
of the First Methodist church, Longmont, Colo. She
leaves four grand children, Mrs. Iva Layton Threthewey and Scott Layton of Douglas, Wyo., A. C. Layton of Glenrock, Wyo., Frank Robert Hollenbeck of Longmont, Colo., and one great grandchild, Francis Clay Layton. Funeral services were held at Denver after which the body was taken to Blue Springs for burial.
