Married Eleanor Guthrie May 27th, 1835, at New Athens, Ohio. Eleanor was born December 27th, 1817; died January 24th, 1862, near Marysville, Ohio. His second marriage was to Mrs. Eliza J. Kennedy, November 2nd, 1865, in Marshall County, Illinois. Eliza J. died September 29th, 1894, at Rutland, Illinois. Thomas C. died September 4th, 1899, at Blue Springs, Nebraska, in the home of his oldest daughter, Mrs. W. A. Hollenback."
