Mrs. Alfrieda Kay "Alf" Hamilton Ashby Reynolds, age 57, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on October 16, 1964 in Bloomington, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Clarence and Alpha Layton Hamilton. She was raised in Madison, Indiana and was a 1983 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She married Charles Robert Ray Ashby in 1981 and was blessed with a son, Charles Robert and a daughter, Rebecca Jean. She was united in marriage to Curtis N. "Curt" Reynolds on April 28, 2000 in Madison, Indiana and blended their families. They enjoyed nearly fourteen years together before his death on April 14, 2014. She had lived four years in California and six years in Nevada and had worked in food service at McDonalds since 2003. She previously worked for Belterra Casino for three years and at Madison Precision for seven years. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Alfrieda died on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 5:05 a.m. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana after a battle with covid 19.

Alfrieda will be missed by her loving son, Charles Robert Ashby of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughter, Rebecca Jean Ashby Stinsman and her husband Andrew of Aurora, Colorado; her stepsons, Jason Rozicki and his wife Meghan of Murraysville, Pennsylvania, Curtis Reynolds, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her stepdaughter, Diedre Reynolds of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Steven Lassetter, Rebecca Irene Lassetter - Ashby, Kalvin Stinsman, Mikenah Rozicki, Ellah Rozicki, Oliviah Rozicki, and Tristan Ashby; her great grandchildren, Henry Kai Lassetter and Riverlynn Rose Loftus; her brothers, Delbert Hamilton and his wife Laura of Milton, Kentucky, Paul Craig and his wife Jan of Dupont, Indiana; her sister, Cindy Kietzman and her husband Charlie of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Hamilton who died on January 14, 2014, her mother, Alpha Layton Hamilton who died April 11, 2011, her husband of 14 years, Curtis N. "Curt" Reynolds who died April 14, 2014, her brother, David K. Craig, July 20, 2010, her stepson, Michael Reynolds, her brother in law and sister in law, Chuck Ashby and Melinda Carol Liter, and her mother in law, Norma Jean Ashby.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow at a later date in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery,1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
MILITARY HONORS
A final salute with military honors will be provided by the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion.
