Mr. Curtis N. "Curt" Reynolds, Sr., age 54, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on September 22, 1959 in Unionville, Missouri. He was the loving son of the late, Norman Thomas and Janet Kay Bullard Reynolds. He was raised in Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. Curt was inducted into the United States Navy on July 10, 1978 and was honorably discharged on March 30, 1992. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Swallows and this union was blessed with three children. He worked early in life as a newspaper vender and at a Saturn Dealership in Pittsburgh as a mechanic. He was united in marriage on April 28, 2000 to Alfrieda Kay Hamilton in Madison. He had last worked as a truck driver for the past eighteen years. Having driven for Star Transport in Morton, Illinois for four years, Barr Nunn Transportation in Granger, Iowa for ten years and the past four years for M & M Trucking in Madison. He enjoyed watching and holding season tickets to the Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey games, riding bicycles, motorcycles, building 4-wheel drive trucks & refurbishing lawn mowers. He loved all kinds of music and enjoyed his dog, "Frankin". Curt died on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 11:44 p.m. at the Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Curt will be missed by his loving wife, Alfrieda Kay Hamilton Reynolds of Madison, Indiana; his loving daughters, Deidre Reynolds of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Becky Ashby Stinsman and her husband, Andy of Aurora, Colorado; his loving sons, Curtis "Scoot" Reynolds, Jr. of Madison, Indiana, Jason Rozycki and his wife, Megan of Murraysville, Pennsylvania, Robbie Ashby of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Steven, Becca, Tristan, Mikenah, Ellah, Olivia & Kalvin; his loving brothers in law and sisters in laws, Delbert Hamilton and his wife, Laura of Milton, Kentucky, Cindy Keitzman and her husband, Charlie of Madison, Indiana, Paul Craig and his wife, Jan of Dupont, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Thomas Reynolds; his mother, Janet Kay Bullard Reynolds Walker; his son, Michael Reynolds, died Jan. 23, 2011; his brother in law, David Craig, died July 10, 2010 and his step father, Vic Walker.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will be private in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana. Friends may call Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

A final salute and military honors will be conducted by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cards are available at the funeral home.
