Anniston - James Buck Camp, 86, died Sunday, October 24, 2021, at his residence.

J. B. was a native of Alabama. He loved fishing, hunting, and was a grill master. J. B. had three jobs, Turner Construction, McWhorter Construction, and owner of Camp Construction Company.

J. B. was preceded in death by parents, Hanton & Amzie Camp; five brothers, Bayron Camp, Leonard L. Camp, Aubrey Camp, Huell Camp, and Rex Camp; six sisters, Mildred Martin, Vernice Gunn, Katherine Owens, Maudean Cofield, Melba Hunt, and Frances Colburn.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Camp; a sister, Bonnie Smith; three sons, Roger Camp, Randy Camp, and Rodney Camp; a daughter, Rhonda Camp Shears; two stepsons, Reagan Kenney and Kevin Andersen; 10 grandchildren, Natascha Andersen, Ian Andersen, Andrew Andersen, Olivia Faith Andersen, Allana Kenney, Breanna Kenney, Easton Kenney, Joey Camp, Charla Camp, & Kayla Shears.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Burns, Eric Mitchell, Hunter Guess, Barry Williamson, Ian Andersen, and Bruce Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Allan Mitchell, Donnie Camp, Jim Hunt, Mickey Thompson, Don Dermody, Larry Cofield, Tiffany Brimer Guess, and Susan Crump Swihart.

Burial will follow in Iron City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
