Mrs. Jeanette B. Utterback, 81, of Springfield died at 11:42 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Hospital.

She was born in Springfield on Oct. 10, 1908, the daughter of Thomas J. and Ellen Walsh Brennan.

She married Fletcher Utterback in 1948 in Decatur.

Before her retirement, she was office manager for Remington-Rand. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Preceding her in death were six brothers, Thomas, Francis, John, Jay, Patrick and Martin Brennan, and five sisters, Mayme Hagele, Bridget Esslinger, Nell Russell and Margaret and Betty Brennan.

Surviving are her husband, Fletcher P.; one son, Phil of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. Hugh Cassidy officiating.

Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
