He was born in Springfield, the son of Thomas and Ellen Walsh Brennan. Mr. Brennan was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Holy Name Society, and the Bishop Griffin Assembly fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of World War II.
Suviving are his widow, Eva, two brothers, Thomas and Martin; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Hagele, Mrs. B. Esslinger, Mrs. Nell Russell, Miss Margaret Brennan all of Springfield, and Mrs. Jeanette Utterback of Decatur.
The body is at the Kirlin and Egan Funeral Home.
